Cultivating a Better Food System in 2013

As we start 2013, many people will be thinking about plans and promises to improve their diet and health. But we think a broader collection of farmers, policy-makers, and eaters need new, bigger resolutions for fixing the food system – real changes with long-term impacts in fields, boardrooms, and on plates all over the world. LA Cocktail Classic Farm to Glass Mixology 101

It takes a village effort to produce a mixology event here in Los Angeles and fortunately the talented veteran event producer Dan Silberstein from Drink Eat Play showcased his version the LA Cocktail Classic to a captive Downtown Los Angeles audience at the beautiful and historic Saint Vibiana Cathedral with over 200 liquor brands coupled with mixologists showcasing the best of the Farm to Glass movement that hit the mainstream cocktail world in 2011. Some of the evenings talent providing demonstrations included; Marcos Tello, Matt Biancaniello, Lindsay Nader, and Joe Swifka just to name a few.
