• The Venice Meet is being launched in an effort to bring together local craftspeople, independent musicians, and specialty food artisans and provide them with a neighborhood forum to exhibit their wares.  Meticulously curated, this monthly event will consist of over fifty Los Angeles-based vendors showcasing their creations.  But, at its heart, The Venice Meet will be about building community and capturing the independent spirit of this one of a kind neighborhood!

The Fox Hills Five, Dafni Amirsakis (http://www.dafni.us/index.html), and Venice-based roots collective The Dustbowl Revival will be swingin’ the June Meet (http://dustbowlrevival.com/), and more than forty local craftspeople, independent designers, food artisans and gourmet food trucks will be showcasing their one-of-a-kind creations.

Taste some delicious Amella Caramels, try on some colorful Avarcas USA shoes, buy a cork necklace from Jesse & Co, play with Janie XY’s adorable handmade toys, admire the creative artistry of Klai Brown Ceramics, snatch up a beautiful bouquet at The Flower Truck, try on the latest styles from Le Fashion Truck, buy some award-winning pickles or chutneys from Coldwater Canyon Provisions, hang out in the Hozell Mobile Store, spice up your cooking with Hepp’s Salts, fill your home with the curated goods of Baum-Kuchen, dress your kid in a t-shirt from Orange Heat, solve a puzzle by The Puzzled One, cover you iPod with a new case from Quiet Doing,  bite into a Kirby Cake from Friandise Pastries, pick up a purse or wallet from Vaalbara Designs, peruse the jewelry of Union and Friends, accessorize with a Stay in the Light headband, treat your dog to delicious treats from Hungry Dawgz biscuits, and many more!

The Westminster Elementary School play yard will be open for the enjoyment of little ones, and Fetch Pet Care will be providing shoppers with complimentary dog-sitting services.

Saturday June  from 11AM-5PM. 1010 Abbot Kinney Boulevard (at Broadway).  Admission is Free. The Venice Meet takes place the second Saturday of every month.
